Camp Manitoqua
Our Illinois Camp is held at Camp Manitoqua, a Christian summer camp in Frankfort, IL. In 2023, the first anual Illinois Special Friends Camp will be held from August 14-18. Leaders Dennis, Emily, and Joshua Pieper bring 30 years of experience running Special Friends Camp in Michigan, and over 30 years experience in the special education field. While the faces and location may be new, the message and fun that is had remains the same. With the help of Good Shephard Lutheran Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Special Friends Ministries is proud to be expanding and spreading the Word of God to a whole new population.
Camp Manitoqua offers various indoor and outdoor activities for campers to participate in including a pool area, hiking trails, archery, arts and crafts areas, gaming room, and numerous other outdoor games and activities. There truly is something for everyone here!
Registration is open so come joing us this summer to learn about God, make some great new friends, and enjoy nature somewhere new!
